Differences and comparison: epoxy resin potting glue has soft glue and hard glue, which has good adhesion to hard materials, and cannot be opened after potting. It has high hardness and good insulation performance, so it has stronger confidentiality; polyurethane glue is generally soft , Adhesiveness is between epoxy glue and silicone, temperature resistance is general, generally not more than 100 degrees, there are many bubbles, must be vacuum cast, compared with epoxy potting glue, it is more toxic, and its advantage is low temperature resistance it is good.
Epoxy resin potting glue
Epoxy resin potting glue easily penetrates into the gaps of products, and is suitable for potting of small and medium-sized electronic components, such as automobile, motorcycle ignition, LED driving power, sensors, toroidal transformers, capacitors, triggers, LED waterproofing For the confidentiality, insulation, and moisture-proof (water) potting of lamps and circuit boards, the common epoxy potting glues are: flame-retardant, thermally conductive, low-viscosity, high-temperature resistant, etc.
Polyurethane potting glue
Polyurethane potting glue is also called PU potting glue. Polyurethane potting materials are characterized by low hardness, moderate strength, good elasticity, water resistance, anti-mold, shockproof, transparent, excellent electrical insulation and flame retardancy, and are suitable for electrical components. No corrosion, good adhesion to metals such as steel, aluminum, copper, tin, rubber, plastic, wood and other materials. The potting material can protect the installed and debugged electronic components and circuits from vibration, corrosion, humidity and dust, etc., and is suitable for sealing various electronic components, microcomputer control boards, etc., such as washing machine fuzzy controllers, gas water heaters Pulse igniter, induction sanitary ware controller, electric bicycle drive controller, etc.
In addition, the polyurethane potting glue can be cured at room temperature, avoiding the damage and performance degradation of electronic and electrical parts caused by temperature rise during heating and curing. Since potting and curing at room temperature does not require huge heating and curing equipment, it is an ideal potting material for moisture-proof and anti-corrosion treatment of electronic and electrical parts.
