The role of potting in the protection of electrical products such as waterproof, moisture-proof and insulation is becoming more and more obvious. At present, epoxy glue, organic silica gel, polyurethane (PU) glue and hot melt glue are widely used. Epoxy resin encapsulants are mostly hard, but some are soft. The biggest advantage, good adhesion to hard materials, can not be opened after potting, high hardness, good insulation performance, ordinary temperature resistance is about 100 ℃, the temperature resistance of heating and curing is about 150 ℃, and the temperature resistance is 300 ℃ above, but the price is very expensive, generally can not achieve mass production, poor repairability. It has the characteristics of fixing, insulating, waterproof, oil-proof, dustproof, anti-theft, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and thermal shock resistance. Epoxy resin potting glue easily penetrates into the gaps of products, and is suitable for potting of small and medium-sized electronic components, such as automobile, motorcycle ignition, LED driving power, sensors, toroidal transformers, capacitors, triggers, LED waterproofing For the confidentiality, insulation, and moisture-proof (water) potting of lamps and circuit boards, the common epoxy potting glues are: flame-retardant, thermally conductive, low-viscosity, high-temperature resistant, etc. Precautions for the use of potting glue: 1. The surface of the potting product needs to be kept dry and clean. 2. Take the amount according to the weight ratio and mix well and stir well to avoid incomplete curing. 3. Fill the glue in time after mixing evenly, and use the mixed glue within the operating time. 4. During the curing process, please keep the product horizontally placed to avoid glue overflow during the curing process. 5. This product will release ethanol during the curing process, which will slightly irritate the skin and eyes. It is recommended to use it in a well-ventilated place. |
